1. Data controller
The data controller is Angel Oliveros, an individual domiciled in Ecuador, operating under the trade name AO3TI. For any matter related to your personal data, write to [email protected].
2. What data we process
- Data you send when you contact us: name, company, email, phone number and the content of your message.
- Technical browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time, logged automatically by our servers for security.
- Data of clients and their users when we provide a service, for example the cases and contacts recorded in the AO3TI Helpdesk.
We do not request or process sensitive data through this site. Please do not include it in your messages.
3. How your data reaches us from the form
The contact form does not store any information on our servers. When you press “Send”, your email app or WhatsApp opens with the message already written, and the data only reaches us when you choose to send it.
4. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiries, schedule meetings and send proposals: with your consent and to take pre-contractual steps you request.
- To provide contracted services, invoice and give support: to perform the contract.
- To protect the site and services against abuse and attacks: our legitimate interest in keeping them secure.
- To meet tax, accounting and legal obligations: legal obligation.
We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
5. Data we process on behalf of our clients
When a client uses the AO3TI Helpdesk or another service we host, the client is the controller of its own customers’ and users’ data, and AO3TI acts as processor: it only processes that data to provide the service, following the client’s instructions and under confidentiality.
If the client turns on artificial intelligence features, the text needed to generate summaries or replies is sent to the configured AI provider solely for that purpose.
6. Who we share data with
- Infrastructure providers that allow us to operate: server hosting, content delivery and site security (Cloudflare), email and messaging.
- Authorities, when required by law or a court order.
Some of these providers may be located outside Ecuador. In those cases we choose providers with adequate data protection safeguards, as the LOPDP requires.
7. How long we keep data
We keep contact data for as long as the business conversation or contractual relationship lasts, and afterwards only for as long as legal obligations or the defence of claims require. Server technical logs are deleted periodically.
8. Your rights
Under the LOPDP you may at any time exercise the rights of:
- Access to your data.
- Rectification and updating.
- Erasure.
- Objection.
- Portability.
- Suspension of processing.
- Not being subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.
9. How to exercise your rights
Write to [email protected] stating which right you wish to exercise and attaching a document proving your identity. We will reply within the time limits set by the LOPDP.
If you receive no reply or disagree with it, you may file a complaint with Ecuador’s Superintendency of Personal Data Protection.
10. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data. They are described in our Security policy.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version will be published here with its update date.
